Sinaia is a small mountain town, and most hotels are within a short drive of the wedding venue. We recommend booking your hotel early, as May is a popular time for events and tourism.

We will be recommending a few hotels where many guests will be staying. Transportation will be organized between these hotels and the wedding venue.

Staying in Sinaia (Recommended for Wedding Events)

We suggest staying in Sinaia so you are close to all wedding events and transportation.

Recommended areas in Sinaia:

  • Sinaia Town Center

  • Near Peleș Castle

  • Near Sinaia Train Station

Sinaia is small and easy to get around, and most hotels are 5–10 minutes from the wedding venue by car.

We will share specific hotel recommendations and room blocks soon.

Staying in Bucharest

Some guests may prefer to stay in Bucharest for part of the trip, especially before or after the wedding. Bucharest is a large city with many hotels, restaurants, and things to do.

Best areas to stay in Bucharest:

  • Old Town (Centrul Vechi) – restaurants, bars, nightlife, historic area

  • City Center / University Square – central location, easy to get around

  • Herăstrău / Aviatorilor – quieter, nice parks, good restaurants, close to the airport

  • Piața Romană / Piața Victoriei – central and convenient

If you are only staying one or two nights in Bucharest, we recommend staying in the Old Town or City Center so you can easily walk to restaurants and sights.

From Bucharest, you can take a train or car to Sinaia (about 1.5–2 hours).

Alternative: Stay in Brașov

If you prefer a larger city with more restaurants, cafés, and nightlife, you can stay in Brașov, which is about a 45-minute drive from Sinaia. Brașov is a beautiful historic city and a great place to visit if you are spending several days in Romania.

Transportation to the wedding venue will be longer from Brașov, but it is a great option if you want to explore more of Transylvania.

Booking Tips

  • Book early, as hotels in Sinaia can fill up quickly

  • Check if breakfast is included

  • Confirm parking if you are renting a car

  • Make sure your hotel is actually in Sinaia (not in remote mountain areas unless you plan to drive)

  • If staying in Bucharest, choose a central location so it’s easy to explore the city

Transportation to Wedding Events

We are planning to provide transportation between the recommended Sinaia hotels and the wedding venue for the welcome party and the wedding day. A transportation schedule will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.
